ART
staff were involved with upgrading of basement structures for several
hotels. The work involved installation of new foundation concrete
pads and reinforced concrete retaining walls approximately 200 feet
long located beneath the sidewalks and streets. The walls were up
to 10 feet high and 12” to 16” thick.

staff were involved in several projects in the commercial, restaurant
& hospitality and multi-unit residential sectors. The projects
involved framing, electrical, plubing, HVAC and ADA compliant work.

staff were involved with upgrading of basement structures for several

| FUEL FACILITY INSTALLATION |
ART
staff were involved with installation of the fuel system for a boiler
room facility. The work included installation of two 20,000 gallons
underground store tanks and associated piping, pumps and equipment. |
| CIVIL ENGINEERING / CONSTRUCTION
OVERSIGHT |
ART staff completed a contract for
IT Corporation to provide civil engineering oversight for the safe
removal and remediation of contaminated soil at 18 sites located
at Hunter’s Point Naval Shipyard, in San Francisco, California.
ART provided field surveying and management oversight of the project. |
| LEAD ABATEMENT / ASBESTOS
REMOVAL |
ART staff performed the project management
of demolition and abatement activities associated with renovation
of a 100,000 square-foot building located in San Francisco, California.
The project involved the removal of the following:
- Approximately 95,000 square feet of hazardous lead paint
- Approximately 2,500 linear feet of asbestos pipe TSI, 35 asbestos
pipe fittings, and 62,000 square feet of other ACM (roofing and
flooring materials, wallboard).

| SUMP EXCAVATION / UST
REMOVAL / SEWER LINE CLEANUP |
ART
staff performed the following remedial activities of a petroleum
and metal-impacted abandoned food facility located in San Francisco,
California:
- Excavation and disposal of USTs and associated product lines
- Excavation and disposal of boiler room diesel product lines
- Sludge removal and excavation of 12 concrete subsurface sumps
- Sludge removal from 1,000 lineal feet of sewer line.
The project was completed satisfactorily even though
there were no information that detailed the locations of USTs, sumps
and product lines inside the building.
