ART staff understands the technical and legal aspects of litigation and mediation support, and the need to work with our client, client’s legal support team, and other interested parties to reach cost-effective solutions to complex problems. ART staff has provided technical support to clients in the following ways:

• Review and critique technical data, and provide technical assistance and expert witness testimony in litigation arising from disputes with regard to groundwater contamination, water use and water rights

• Develop analytical and numerical models to predict groundwater flow and fate transport for local or regional plumes, which can be used as an important tool during cost allocation/mediation to estimate the contribution of contaminants from various responsible parties
