ART provides clients with cost effective solutions and detailed recommendations to minimize hazardous waste production mandated by SB14. Compliance audits, performance audits, and site audits are performed and source reduction measures are evaluated. Some of the source reduction measures include raw material changes, material usage optimization by operational improvements, production process equipment automation, product reformulation and composition changes, inventory control and operator training programs and incentives. Each source reduction measure is evaluated for expected change in hazardous waste generated, technical feasibility, economic evaluation, effect on product quality, employee health and safety, permitting and discharge issues to comply with applicable laws and regulations.
